About this policy

PageBunny is a reading and vocabulary-learning service from Fz.techbridge. This policy describes the information used for PageBunny accounts and reading features, including the iOS app and its connected services. Other Fz.techbridge products have their own policies.

Your imported readings are associated with your account. Importing a reading does not publish it to a public library. Providing cloud storage, dictionary lookups, and AI adaptation still involves processing information through the services described below.

Information we handle

Account and learning profile

We process your email address, display name, account identifier, sign-in information, English level, target reading level, and selected interests. These support authentication, account recovery, profile settings, and personalized reading. If you use a sign-in provider, we receive the account information and credentials it makes available for that sign-in.

Readings and vocabulary

We store the text and files you choose to import, their titles and any source URL you provide, reading sections, AI-adapted versions, and saved vocabulary with its context. Your reading history, completion activity, and vocabulary activity help provide your library and learning features.

Feedback and support

Reading feedback you submit is stored with your account and the relevant reading so we can understand and improve the results. If you contact support, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. Please do not send passwords or sign-in codes.

Local app settings

The iOS app keeps preferences such as interface language, reading display settings, and reading position on your device. Sign-in credentials are stored in the device Keychain. Local settings are distinct from reading history and other account data stored by our service.

Service and diagnostic records

Our services generate records to operate and troubleshoot reading and dictionary features. These can include account and reading identifiers, queried words, processing times, request errors, and text or token counts. When detailed adaptation diagnostics are enabled, records can also include reading titles and vocabulary excerpts. Hosting and service providers may process connection information, such as IP addresses, as part of serving requests.

How information is used

• To create and secure your account, sign you in, and support account recovery.
• To import, store, and display your readings and synchronize account data.
• To adapt reading difficulty to your level and saved vocabulary.
• To provide word definitions, pronunciation audio, and reading history.
• To respond to support requests, review feedback, and investigate errors.

The iOS app does not include advertising SDKs or request access to your advertising identifier. Account-linked storage and service diagnostics are still described in this policy.

Services that process information

Supabase

Supabase provides authentication, database, file storage, and backend functions. It processes account information, imported material, saved learning data, and requests used to operate PageBunny.

OpenAI

When you request an AI-adapted reading, our backend sends the relevant source text, section title, target level, and saved vocabulary context to OpenAI to generate the adapted version. Avoid importing confidential or sensitive information that you do not want processed by these services.

Dictionary and pronunciation providers

Word lookups can be sent to Merriam-Webster or Free Dictionary services. Playing pronunciation audio connects your device to the audio provider. These providers receive the information needed to handle those requests.

Sign-in providers

If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, that provider processes your sign-in under its own terms. PageBunny uses the resulting credentials to authenticate your account.

Providers' processing and retention depend on the service and applicable account configuration. For questions about a particular flow, contact us.

Retention and deleting your account

Account information and saved reading data are stored to provide your account and library. You can remove readings using the library controls and start account deletion in the iOS app under Settings → Delete Account.

Account deletion removes your PageBunny sign-in access and associated application records, including readings, uploads, reading history, and saved vocabulary. Follow any additional Apple sign-in steps shown by the app. Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account.

Operational logs, backups, and records held by service providers may have separate retention and deletion schedules. Account deletion should not be understood as an immediate erasure of every provider log or backup. Contact us about retention, access, corrections, or a deletion request that you cannot complete in the app.

Your choices

You choose which readings to import, which words to save, and whether to submit feedback. You can update your learning profile in Settings. You can stop using cloud reading features and request account deletion if you no longer want PageBunny to process your account data.

We may update this policy when PageBunny's features or data practices change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version of this page.
